On a perfect Autumn evening in March, Rylands of Hawthorn residents were treated to a picturesque performance of Opera in the Courtyard. Four performers Georgia Wilkinson, Eleanor Greenwood, Michael Dimovski and Darcy Carroll from Melbourne Opera’s The Richard Divall Emerging Artists Programme took to the stage. The performance was then followed by a special dinner where residents could mingle with the performers.
The event generated a wonderful feel of community spirit within the village and excitement for some residents who had not seen a performance in over a year due to COVID-19.
